Honor Roll recognizes the academic achievement of students in grades 6th-8th. Students are recognized at the end of each quarter at an all-school assembly.

Highest Honors are awarded to students who maintain an overall grade percentage of 95.5 with no individual subject grade below an A. First Honors are awarded to students who maintain an overall grade percentage of 92.5-95.4 with no individual subject grade lower than B. Second Honors are awarded to students who maintain an overall grade percentage of 85.5-92.4 with no individual subject grade lower than a C. Subject areas are listed below according to weighted value.

Weighted Twice:

  • Religion
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Math
  • Literature
  • Language Arts

 Any student who receives an in or out of school suspension is ineligible for Honor Roll that quarter.

Students in 4th and 5th grades are recognized quarterly for honors in their classroom. Teachers in the lower elementary grades may also choose to have their own academic honor system.

Christian Awards

Spirit of Mary Award
Each semester, the classroom teacher recognizes the student (grades 4th-8th) who most exemplifies the traits and qualities of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our school patroness, in the classroom and in school activities.

Christian Witness Award
This award is handed out at the end of the year to two students per grade in 4th-8th who best exemplify the traits and qualities of a Catholic Christian.
