The St. Mary’s Educational Advisory Board is commissioned by the Pastoral Council of St. Mary’s Parish to serve in an advisory capacity in matters that are related to the overall pastoral vision. The Board will review and make recommendations regarding all aspects of the education programs of St. Mary’s School and St. Mary’s Religious Education program, in cooperation with the Pastor.
The Board consists of seven voting members elected by the parishioners of St. Mary’s Parish. The elected members of the Board are at least 18 years of age when elected and are members of St. Mary’s Parish. Each elected member serves a three-year term except for those elected/appointed to fill an unexpired term.
The Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month, with the exception of June and July, in St. Mary’s Library (or other publicly designated room). The Board meetings are open to the public with the exception of meetings that are designated as Executive Sessions.
