St. Mary's Student Council provides an opportunity for middle school students to learn about working with others and strengthen their leadership skills.

Students in grades 6th-8th are eligible to run for Student Council. Eighth graders are elected as Student Council officers and are in charge of running the meetings.

Student Council meets once a week before school for 30 minutes to plan and implement service projects, theme days, and other school-wide activities throughout the year. As representatives, they keep the rest of the school informed on upcoming activities.
