Catechists Wanted!
Jesus has a special place in His heart for children, and so does St. Mary’s! If you have ever considered wanting to teach little ones about our faith, our Religious Education program is looking for catechists for the 2026/2027 school year. Whether it’s your first time or you have prior experience with kids, we would love to have you join our team! Contact Maureen Willoughby at This email address is being protected from spambots. All of our catechists will be trained and prepped prior to the school year, both in classroom management and the content they will be teaching for the year. If you have little or no experience, you will have the support you need to succeed. You don’t have to be a professional - just come with your love for kids and your love for Jesus!
This year, we are changing the look of sacrament prep for First Communion. The class will be broken up into a series of small groups, with each one being led by an adult volunteer. If you are hesitant about leading a class, this might be the position for you!
