How does a Catholic man live a Catholic life and help the people around him?
The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men that has grown from several members in one council to 15,900 councils and 1.9 million members throughout the world. Its mission is based on four main principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. The need for the Knights and their charitable giving is endless and their desire to meet those needs is never ending.
Here at St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus Council 6192, our charitable activities encompass an almost infinite variety of local, national, and international projects. These activities range from international charitable partnerships with the Special Olympics, the Global Wheelchair Mission, and Habitat for Humanity to meeting the needs of our local community in the way of Food for Families, Coats for Kids, and many other local charities. We relish the opportunity to work together with fellow Knights and their families to serve others with a variety of programs and projects that is virtually endless. We are men of faith, who love our country and are willing to serve God’s people in whatever ways we can. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month, starting with dinner at 6:00pm, followed by a rosary at 6:30pm, and ending with the meeting itself at 7:00pm. There we discuss the needs of the community and how we, as the hands and feet of Christ, can meet those needs. God always provides.
