How Project H.O.P.E. works is that we buy gift cards at a discount and sell them to St. Mary's parishioners at face value. The church makes anywhere from 1.5% to 20% from different vendors. So, how does this help you? At the end of every accounting year (at St. Mary's, that's the end of June), all Project H.O.P.E. sales are tallied up.  School families that buy less than $1,000 worth of scrip a year receive no rebate, but families that purchase over $1,000 of gift cards receive 75% of the total rebate earned from the vendor to put towards next year's tuition. This rebate can also go towards helping pay off the tuition for students in Catholic high schools in the Nebraska area, such as Mount Michael and Mercy High School. Project H.O.P.E not only helps the parish but your family as well - it just goes to show, participation pays off! 

How to Place an Order

We have gift cards for grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations in our inventory. Not only do we have a variety of cards in stock, but we can also special order cards from vendors for whatever you may need. Click below for St. Mary's Project H.O.P.E. order form to see what vendors we offer. If we do not offer a store, restaurant, or gas station you would like to purchase from, filling out our special order form will help us get you the cards you need. You can purchase gift cards at the Rectory during normal business hours.

St. Mary's Project H.O.P.E program uses RaiseRight, a mobile app that allows you to buy gift cards while also earning money for our church!

1. Join the program

3. Get and use your gift cards

• eGift cards are delivered to the app within minutes - you can view them in your wallet on the app.
• Physical gift cards are mailed to St. Mary's Project H.O.P.E coordinators.
• You can use both types of gift cards in-store and online.
