Pantry Sunday was established in 2008 in support of the Bellevue Pantry and the hungry of Bellevue.
Details
Brown paper grocery bags are placed at the entrances to the church on the second Sunday of each month for Pantry Sunday weekends. Each bag has a flyer attached that suggests needed items for the Bellevue Pantry. An announcement is made that the bags are available and parishioners are asked to return filled bags the following weekend. The Bellevue Food Pantry's van is located in the parking lot on Pantry Sunday weekends after all Masses for easy drop off.
Items may also be left in the old elevator entrance of the church at any time for delivery to the Bellevue Food Pantry. Gift cards may be purchased as vouchers for the pantry from Project H.O.P.E. Pantry Sunday Weekend is not held in December due to other opportunities for food donations to the pantry during that month. Please contact the parish offices for more information.
